Commission for

FINALLY!

It's done! amg ;w; After so much time, after several previous tries, different sketches and stuff, I finally managed to finish this commish! >w< But you know, I'm kinda glad I didn't rush it. My prev tries were all...bleh. Totally stupid and uncool. XD Plus! My style changed a bit~ And I learned a few new tricks. And actually when I started sketching this pic, it wasn't supposed to be the commish. XD First I just drew Zayo sitting in this weird and kinda impossible way on his shovel. then I thought I could add Luce and in the end- Sandro and...ta-da! :'D It was totally random, but so much better than my tries when I actually had a concept. XD

But...I totally butchered Luce and Sandro's designs. I'm so sorry, Taja, Dea! QAQ I dropped so many of the details. OTL B-but...I just had to! If I hadn't done it, I would have never finished this! And my PC would die! It already was taking minutes to save only this and I even drew the BG on a separate file and just merged it later, but it still didn't help much. ;w; Ah, as a note- I somehow really like how the BG turned out. XD But so yeah, back on topic, sorry Taja, sorry Dea, I'm not as awesome as you two, and I guess I'll just never be. ;w; And I didn't draw Luce's wings because they were hard to fit in the composition. OTL

Also...forgive me on the fail-ish colouring too. OTL This was just... the first time I tried to properly draw a night scene I think. QAQ And I had no clue how to do it. I read somewhere that I should colour from dark to light, trying to build the shapes with the light and not the shadows like usual and I really tried that, but...it didn't help that much QAQ I was totally lost in the end. OTL I need to research and practice more, but I was afraid this would take me at least another half a year, so...I just tried with whatever I had at this moment. ;w;

But still!!! After everything said, I'm super proud of this pic!!! >w< When I was drawing Dea's commission before, I tried to make it the best pic I've ever made. Then- I decided that I'd do the same with Taja's commission! And I think that I did it!!! For the first time in ages, this is a complete picture, with a composition of more than one character, all fullcolour and with a background! What more could I ask for?! XD So yeah, I'm proud~ =w=
